Tudo bem que o Guitar Hero não costuma ter muitas inovações entre uma versão e outra, mas aposto que todo mundo está curioso para ver as telas do Guitar Hero, não é mesmo?
O jogo terá músicas de mais de 59 artistas, incluindo: 3 Doors Down, AFI, Band of Horses, Beastie Boys, Beck, Billy Idol, Billy Squier, Blur, Bon Jovi, Brand New, Bush, Coldplay, Darker My Love, Darkest Hour, David Bowie, Deep Purple, The Derek Trucks Band, Dire Straits, Duran Duran, Eagles of Death Metal, Elliott Smith, Garbage, Gorillaz, Gov't Mule, Grand Funk Railroad, Iggy Pop, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Eat World, John Cougar Mellencamp, Kaiser Chiefs, Kiss, Megadeth, Mötley Crüe, Muse, My Morning Jacket, Nirvana, No Doubt, Peter Frampton, The Police, Public Enemy, Queens of the Stone Age, The Raconteurs, Rammstein, Rose Hill Drive, Rush, Scars on Broadway, Screaming Trees, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, Spacehog, The Sword, Sublime, Sunny Day Real Estate, Thin Lizzy, Thrice, T.Rex, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Weezer e Wild Cherry.
